Ipamorelin (IP)

What It Is

Ipamorelin is a growth hormone–releasing peptide (GHRP) that stimulates the body’s natural secretion of growth hormone (GH). It is considered one of the cleanest and most selective GHRPs available because it targets GH release without significantly affecting other hormones like prolactin, cortisol, or ACTH.

How It Works

Ipamorelin acts on ghrelin receptors (GHS-R1a) in the pituitary gland and hypothalamus, gently encouraging the body to release its own growth hormone in a natural pulsatile rhythm.

Key mechanisms:

• Binds selectively to ghrelin receptors

• Promotes GH pulse amplitude without overstimulation

• Does not cause the side effects commonly seen in older GHRPs

This makes it one of the preferred peptides for long-term use.
